Vicki Williams
RN – Vice President, American Heart Association BLS Instructor
Vicki is a wife, mother, nurse, and a sudden cardiac arrest survivor. Her nursing career consists of a background in medical surgical, orthopedics, pain management, and outpatient infusions. She started as a patient care assistant where she quickly fell in love with the world of health care and knew it was where she belonged. She loves caring for her patients and their families! In her free time, you can find Vicki with her family spending time outdoors hunting, on the side by side, taking beach trips to the outer banks, and enjoying any time spent together! It’s no surprise that being a part of only 10% of people who are fortunate enough to survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest has fueled her passion for CPR education in our communities. Vicki’s story is not over because of two amazing women who knew hands-only CPR. Now it’s her mission to re-write someone else’s ending through the Run With Heart Foundation!

Erica Bowser
Treasurer
Erica is currently the Controller at Armstrong County Community Action Agency. Though she switched her major from Accounting to Marketing, her sophomore year of college, because she “hated looking at numbers all day”, she has found herself in financial positions for most of her career. Erica truly feels a God given drive to serve others and tries to fulfill that through her work and by volunteering her time with many local organizations. She is an elected member of her local council, serves on the diaconate board at First Baptist Church of Kittanning, serves as Co-Director of the church’s Bible School Program, Junior Church Teacher and volunteers for any organization that involves her children, Lauren and Logan. In the past, she has served on the boards of Blessings In a Backpack, Armstrong Athletics and the YMCA Youth Sports Committee. Erica is also co-owner of the The Building Art Gallery and Gift Shop in downtown Kittanning. In her spare time Erica enjoys walking with friends (i.e. therapy), watching sports, spending time with her family, planning home renovations that will never happen due to her daughter’s expensive taste and her son’s never-ending need for fishing lures and discussing with her husband, Jeff, what to have for dinner every…single…day. Erica feels honored to be involved with the Run With Heart organization and thankful to be part of the impactful change it is making in our community.
